Suit Debuts on Jupiter Mission
Astronaut David
Bowman (Mission Comander) wears the newest Mark V Space Suit as he makes
last minute preparations for departure on the upcoming U.S.S. Discovery
mission to Jupiter.
The
Mark V Space Suit was designed by Harry Lange and developed under the
supervision of Fred Ordway by MV Aviation Co., Ltd of Maidenhead, England
and at the Air Sea Rescue Division, Victoria Rubber Works of the Frankenstein
Group, Ltd. of Manchester, England.
